A great upset was witnessed for the both dominating teams, BREN Esports and the Orcas, ECHO, as both teams shockingly suffered upset defeats and were knocked down to the lower bracket. Now, it is a do-or-die battle between the two formidable teams. One has to move forward and one has to go home. Will Echo move forward once again to defend their title as the champions? Or will BREN Esports set the sail to withstand the tides of the Orcas?

A signature Helcurt by KyleTzy was surprisingly open for picking and BREN Esports prioritized it for their first pick and was answered by a signature Lancelot by KarlTzy and a Kadita. Khufra was picked alongside Valentina on the side of BREN as Echo picked Franco for their third pick. BREN tried to limit SanFord’s hero pool by banning Yu Zhong, Frederin, Terizla, and Bennedetta, as ECHO respected KyleTzy’s comfort picks banning Hayabussa and Fanny, with Faramis, Joy, and Wanwan. A Karrie was picked for the side of BREN to shred the frontliners of Echo alongside Gloo to reach the foe’s backlines. ECHO lastly picked Lapu-lapu and Beatrix. Both teams chose to pick their comfort heroes.

Both of the teams started the game with their normal rotations until the first turtle. Karltzy’s Lancelot secured the first turtle and also picked off two members of the BREN with 2-1 trade. With Yawi and Sanji’s rotations together with their pick off potential, they managed to get kill after a kill and that gave them advantage in the early stages of the game as they made it difficult for Bren to control the map. KarlTzy’s accurate objective taking helped them to secure the 2nd and 3rd turtle objectives as well as their first lord, leaving BREN a 3-9 score and an almost 6,000 gold lead favoring Echo under the 9-minute mark. Echo secured the second lord, which went uncontested and defended by Bren. As the lord entered the base of Bren esports, Bennyqt’s Beatrix went wild together with KarlTzy as they finished off 4 members securing the victory of game 1 under 14 minutes.

In the drafting phase for game 2 a new game plan by ECHO was seen as they prioritized Frederin followed by Lapu-lapu, Yve, Akai, and Lunox, while aslo trying to limit Super Marco’s hero pool by banning his two gold lanes: Lesley and Melissa. BREN Esports on the other hand respected KarlTzy’s Lancelot and banned Yawi’s heroes Khufra and Hilda for allowing Hayabusa to farm freely in his jungle. A Gloo, Beatrix, Faramis, Lolita was picked alongside Hayabusa by BREN Esports answering ECHO’s composition.

Both teams started game 2 aggressively as ECHO secured the first turtle with Sanford picking off 2 members on the side of BREN. Echo secures the last 2 turtles while putting pressure on the gold lane of Bren Esports. As Bren couldn't keep up with Echo’s aggression, Echo secured 3 lords which Bren defended. At the 18-minute mark of the game, BREN was able to keep up with Echo’s gold and decided to contest the 4th lord which KyleTzy secured. At the 25-minute mark of the game, BREN was able to pick off Sanji’s Lunox and Yawi’s Akai and they used this advantage to move forward to the crystal. With BREN Owgen’s 3-man Neuomenom Blast, Bren Esports was able to tower lock and finish the game 2 with 1-1.

For the drafting phase for game 3,  BREN Esports prioritized Arlott for their first pick, which ECHO responded by picking Gloo  and KarlTzy’s Lancelot. Khufra and Fanny were the 2nd and 3rd picks of BREN which ECHO answered by picking Franco. BREN lastly picked Julian and Natan and Echo picked Karrie and Pharsa. BREN Esports’ composition is more efficient on the early and mid stages of the game while ECHO’s composition requires scaling for mid to late stages of the game.

Both teams started their early game with only exchanging skills and pokes until the first turtle which was secured by KarlTzy. As ECHO only depended on Yawi’s early hooks from his Franco, they started to play aggressively as they secured the first blood on KyleTzy. Yawi’s on point Iron hooks and Bloody Hunt initiations made it hard for BREN to get control all over the map and this led to Echo’s dominance on the early stages of the game. Echo secures the first lord which was defended by Bren. A conceal initiation by Yawi followed up by the members of ECHO wiped out BREN as they swept and finished game 3 with a score of 2-16 and 11000 gold lead at the 13-minute mark.

For the drafting phase of game 4, Franco was surprisingly not banned as Yawi’s Iron Hooks and Bloody Hunt initiations made it difficult for BREN Esports to regain their momentum.  ECHO prioritized Gloo for their first pick which Bren responded by picking Frederin and Yve. Echo picked Kadita and Franco as their comfort picks and Bren picked Grock for their 3rd pick. Bren picked Beatrix as Echo responded by picking Martis and an unorthodox Minsitthar gold lane. Finally, Bren picked Terizla. A double hook composition was seen in the line up of ECHO.

ECHO and BREN started their early game passively as they farm their needed resources for the first turtle which was secured by KarlTzy and another first blood was secured by Yawi’s Bloody Hunt with a 1-1 trade. KarlTzy secured the second turtle as it was followed by Bennyqt’s King’s Calling causing 4-man casualties on the side of Bren. ECHO’s Hook City line-up with Kadita’s Initiations made it difficult for Bren to keep up with ECHO’s lead as they used this lead to secure all the turtle objectives as well as their first lord. Yawi once again landed his Iron Hook followed by Sanji’s 3-man knock up and a clean up from Bennyqt’s King’s Calling and Spear of Glory  combo wiping off 4 members of Bren Esports. Bren defended the lord as Echo managed to get control over the map and secure the second lord which Bren once again defended with Flaptzy’s Penalty Zone play picking off 1 member from the side of ECHO. KarlTzy secures the final lord that was left uncontested by BREN that caused their victory on game 4 with 3-1.
