The M4 World Champions remained unfazed during Week 1 and now they're going up against the fresh faces we saw last season. Will ONIC PH be able to play the hands of time against the speed of ECHO Express?

This is a David and Goliath match-up. The pressure is on for Nets and the rest of ONIC PH to weather Bagyong Bennyqt and all of ECHO.

ECHO clearly expressed how they wanted to set the tempo for this Game 1. Removing the Diggie, Faramis, and Kaja gave the impression to ONIC that they would rely on their team fight mechanics, thus, ONIC respectively banned Yawi's Atlas and Khufra and prioritized counter engaging heroes like Akai and Lapu-Lapu.

ONIC slowed down ECHO for the first 5 minutes of the game. Major team fights became a series of disorientations from Sensui's Heavy Spin and Sanford's Black Dragon Form. As the game progressed up to the mid through the late, it had been defined by pick-offs from both parties but ECHO remained advantageous because of their layering of skills: Yawi, Karltzy, and Sanji's knock-ups coming out of each and every opening from ONIC. ECHO's lead ballooned up eventually to get the W on this 13-minute Game 1.

Knowing that ECHO remained on the blue side for Game 2, it became closely similar to Game 1's. Some heroes just fell into the hands of the other such as Pharsa to Super Frince, Valentina to Sanji, Yu Zhong to Ryota and Lapu-lapu on Sanford. ONIC respected Yawi's Kadita which became a major key factor for ECHO's Game 1 but Yawi went to play with a Khufra instead. Unlike Game 1 though, ONIC displayed better match-ups on the second bout. Kekedoot lead ONIC to even out the early game potential of ECHO because of his counter initiations against Yawi and Karltzy's. ONIC found favorable trades such as turrets over turtles, mirrored ganks, and better pre-objective rotations and positions.

A major pick-off against Sensui ignited ECHO to move apart of the economic balance. They got the first Lord and took control of around 80 percent of the map until the luminous Lord respawned. Although it was secured by Sensui, Bennyqt's Melissa popped off with a triple to even out the trade but Nets's Brody returned the favor with a wipeout to force a Game 3 against the Orcas.

During the Game 3 draft, Natalia went into the hands of Kekedoot with the idea to possibly suppress the scaling potential of Sanji and Bennyqt but ECHO answered back with Yawi' s Atlas. Both junglers went for their Game 2 heroed as well with Karltzy on the Fredrinn and Sensui on the Karina.

ONIC relied on Kekedoot's pick-off potential. His Natalia provided threat during the laning phase, forcing ECHO on scattered teamfights getting the lead on the early. ECHO seemed to have found the answer by grouping up to punish ONIC and it paid off until the first Lord. ONIC though, maintained balance through Super Frince's massive teamfight presence with his Yve. ONIC managed to secure clutch Lord takes and crucial teamfights through Kekedoot and Ryota punishing the backline of ECHO.

Karltzy's retribution secured the final Lord to finally secure the series, 2-1 against ONIC PH and ECHO stays Undefeated.
