The stakes are high as we have a rematch on our hands with Echo Philippines looking to take revenge on RSG Slate Philippines in order to snatch the last grand finals slot as well with the last ticket to become a PH representative for the upcoming MSC tournament. Will Echo be able to successfully get their revenge? Or will RSG Slate once again stop them at their tracks to be able to defend their current MSC crown?

The draft for game one starts with Echo following their normal approach by drafting Fredrinn, Pharsa, Khufra, Harith, and Lapu-Lapu. RSG on the other hand follows a similar draft with Atlas, Karrie, Kadita, Yu Zhong, and Baxia. Both teams banned the signature picks of their opponents such as Joy, Lancelot, Franco, and Gloo.

The game starts with Echo and RSG being neck and neck with each other in terms of clashing and team fights. Echo were able to take the early gold lead but one successful Clash from RSG turned the tide. The game seemed close until Echo were able to snatch the gold lead back. With this gold lead, they were able to scale well into the late game without letting go of the lead. Echo were able to take all the objectives after taking back the gold lead. By the second lord, Echo were able to successfully push RSG’s base earning them the first win of the series.

The draft for game two starts with RSG taking away the Harith from Echo. They also take the Arlott, Valentina, Lancelot, and Kaja. Echo on the other hand drafted Karina, Franco, Kadita, Gloo, and Karrie. Both sides banned standard meta picks such as Joy, Faramis, Martis, and Yu Zhong.
The game starts with the opposite of what happened during game 1. Echo is able to dominate all stages of the game from early to late earning theirselves a huge gold lead. They take most objectives from early to late game while also taking map control of the whole map. Unfortunately for Echo, by the 20th minute mark, RSG is able to successfully maneuver a team fight in their favor and despite the huge gold lead, dominate that team fight allowing them to crack their way into the base of Echo. As RSG pushes towards Echo’s base, Bennyqt tries to segway but fails allowing RSG to end the game to tie the series with a 1-1 scoreline.

The draft for game 3 starts with Echo sticking to their signature core lineup which includes Fredrinn, Claude, Yve, Yu Zhong, and Faramis. RSG fought back by drafting Akai, Melissa, Kadita, Khufra, and Esmeralda. Both teams stayed similar with their bans by taking out Wanwan, Joy, Gloo, and Fanny.

Game 3 starts with a similar approach to the early stages of game one wherein both teams clash with each other and win respective team fights making the game close. Unfortunately for RSG, the same outcome happens once Echo finds their groove to continuously dominate RSG taking most objectives and further increasing their gold lead every minute. A shocking team fight happens when Echo, using the first lord they secured, immediately besieges the base of RSG allowing them to close out the match within only the 11th minute mark of the game.

The draft for game 4 starts with RSG picking up Beatrix, Franco, Arlott, Yve, and Fredrinn. Echo on the other hand drafted Karrie, Kaja, Martis, Gloo, and Faramis. The bans for both teams stayed similar to the third game with bans such as Minsitthar, Fanny, Joy, and Yu Zhong.

Game 4 starts following the trend of the series where Echo is able to dominate the early game to allow them to scale well into the late game. Echo amasses a huge gold lead to push back RSG and take every turtle objective. Echo is on track to win game 4 but by the 1st lord objective that Echo tries to secure, RSG is able to successfully win over Echo in a clash despite the gold difference allowing them to take down multiple members while RSG even steal the lord with a successful retribution by Irrad. Using their newly found gold lead, they successfully pressure Echo back into their base. With the second lord secured by RSG, they are able to end the game after sieging their base equalizing the scoreline to a 2-2.

The draft for the final game of the series, game 5, starts with Echo securing their picks that they are known for such as Lancelot, Lapu-Lapu, Karrie, Pharsa, and Khufra. RSG on the other hand, follow as well by picking up their own signature picks such as Beatrix, Arlott, Yve, Chou, and Fredrinn. Bans for both teams stayed similar following the other games with bans including Minsitthar, Joy, Gloo, and Kaja.

Game 5 starts with Echo and RSG having a close early game with pickoffs happening from both sides. The game stays close until the third turtle with a massive teamfight win by Echo allowing them to take down multiple members of RSG while also securing their third turtle. This allows Echo to start building up their gold lead. Unfortunately for RSG, the momentum being given to Echo allowed them to dominate the game by taking every lord spawned while also applying pressure towards RSG. By the second lord, RSG moves out of their base to try and start a teamfight with Echo as Karltzy tries to focus on the lord. RSG’s approach fails as Echo not only secures the lord but is also able to take down three members of RSG. With the lord secured and three members down on the side of RSG, Echo sieges into the base of RSG to successfully end the game allowing them to win the series and take the last grand finals slot alongside a ticket to MSC with a scoreline of 3-2.
